Gökbez, Bor

Gökbez is a village in the district of Bor the Turkish province of Nigde. The village is located about 18 kilometers southeast of the county town of Bor and 22 kilometers south of the provincial capital of Nigde.

Due to the mountainous landscape of Gökbez was in ancient times a connecting road from Tyana, today Kemerhisar, after Faustinopolis and Cilician gate. In the village is a späthethitisches rock relief, also lettered three grave columns were found. Two of them are located in Nigde Archaeological Museum.
