Gökçekaya Dam

The Gökçekaya Dam is located in Turkey. It is 43 km north of Alpu in the province of Eskişehir and 60 km downstream of the dam Sariyar at Sakarya, which eventually flows into the Black Sea.

At the dam, a hydroelectric plant was completed in 1973 with three turbines that produce 278 or 300 MW, according to several sources. Also, some further technical details are given differently in different sources ( see table).
