Göksel Demirpençe

Göksel Demirpençe, shortly called Göksel ( born November 25, 1971 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish pop singer.

After dropping philosophy studies at the Bosphorus University, she sang first as a background singer for various musicians, including Sezen Aksu and Sertab Erener. 1997 their debut album Yollar appeared with the hit Sabir. In 2001 she moved to Sony Music and released her second album with the hit Körebe Depresyondayım.

In addition to her solo albums she has also worked with various other artists, such as the Greek band Omega Vibes ( karsi kıyıya ) or maNga ( Dursun Zaman ). In 2006 she gave a concert in Bochum, 2008 in Mannheim.

2007 she released her album Ay'da yürüdüm ( I went on the moon ). In the play, Tas Bebek it is supported by Teoman Yakupoğlu and Ferman Akgül ( singer of maNga ).
