Gołaczów, Kłodzko County

Gołaczów ( German Halla sealed; 1937-1945 Hall Basic ) is a village in the powiat Kłodzki in the Province of Lower Silesia in Poland. It belongs to the rural community Lewin Kłodzki and is located six kilometers north-west of Duszniki - Zdrój.

Geography

Gołaczów lies in the west of the Glatzer boiler in the southern slopes of Table Mountains. It is reached via a road that branches off from the European Route 67 at Jeleniów. Neighboring towns are the defunct villages Żyznów and Darnkow in the north, Łężyce in the northeast, Kulin Kłodzki the southeast, Leśna in the south, the west and Dańczów Jerzykowice Wielkie in the northwest.

History

Halla friction was first mentioned in 1477 as Haleczow and 1560 called club village. It was the parish church of St. Michael gepfarrt in Lewin and belonged to the rule Hummel, the Duke Henry the Elder. 1477 joined to the County of Glatz. Together with the rule Hummel came Halla sealed in 1561 to the Bohemian sovereign. Even after the dissolution of the rule Hummel 1595 the corresponding localities initially remained in the possession of the royal chamber. This sold Halla sealed in 1684 the owner of the domain Rückers, Johann of Hartig Isaias.

After the Silesian Wars Halla sealed came together with the county of Glatz in 1763 with the Peace of Hubertusburg to Prussia. For 1793 35 houses have been proven, in which 188 people lived. After the reorganization of Prussia belonged since 1815 to the province of Silesia and was from 1816 to 1945 the county Glatz incorporated. It formed its own rural community and was the capital of the district of Halla sealed. In 1937 it was renamed the Hall basis. 1939 counted 227 inhabitants. As a result of the Second World War, Halla was sealed in 1945 as almost all of Silesia to Poland and was initially renamed Halacz and later in Gołaczów. The German population was expelled. The new inhabitants were partly displaced persons from eastern Poland. The number of inhabitants declined significantly and was in the 1990s less than 30 % of the population by 1939. Resulted in many houses were left to decay. 1975-1998 belonged to Gołaczów Voivodeship Wałbrzych.
