Goodacre (crater)

Goodacre is an impact crater in the southern part of the Moon front, southwest of Mare Nectaris, south of the crater Pontanus and north of Gemma Frisius whose edge he touches. The point of contact is overlain by the addition crater Goodacre G. The crater is moderately eroded, the interior largely flat and has a central mountain on.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the British amateur astronomer Walter Goodacre.
