Göran Färm

Göran Färm (born 17 October 1949 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish politician of the SAP.

After high school studied Färm at the College of Journalism in Stockholm and was from 1970 to 1973 as a journalist for several newspapers operate. Then he was until 1976 chief editor of the newspaper of the Swedish Young Socialists, then head of department of an advertising agency and worked in several positions in the trade union federation. From 1987 to 1988 he worked as Director of Information at a housing organization, as well as chief editor at Örebro Messenger, then he started a company in which he was for several years active as a management consultant.

Politically Färm was first at the Young Socialists in scope, it was there on the Executive Committee and served as vice chairman of the International Union of Socialist Youth. From 1991 to 1994 he was chairman of the Social Democrats in Norrköping and belonged to the Executive Committee of the SAP in Östergötland County in. In Norrköping, he was a full-time local council and was a member of the council, he was also member of the Council of the Regional Council Östsam and sat in front of the International Committee of the Regional Council Östsam. He was first elected to the European Parliament in 1999, which he remained a member until today with an interruption from 2004 to 2007.
