Göran Nilsson (cinematographer)

Stig Göran Harry Nilsson ( * July 16, 1946 in Brännkyrka Stockholms län, Sweden, † December 30, 2012 is a Swedish cinematographer, screenwriter, film director, film producer and editor.

Life

Göran Nilsson's film career began in 1980 with the camera assistant in the thriller Flygnivå 450 and the first independent work in the television miniseries Dubbelstötarna. With the drama The Guardian Angel 1990 he was honored with a nomination for the European Film Awards, while he won the Guldbagge for Best Cinematography for the thriller Coq Rouge in the same year. Then should follow two more Guldbagge nominations for Kådisbellan and Stora och små män.

After Göran Nilsson in 1993 tried with the film produced by him Konsulten as a screenwriter, director and editor, was published in 1999 with the short film Sällskap and the drama Rackelhane two more films with him as a writer-director. Rackelhane was his most recent film.
