Goran Šprem

Goran Šprem ( born July 6, 1979 in Dubrovnik) is a native of Croatia handball player. His game position is left wing.

For the Croatian national team, he played 109 matches in which he scored 277 goals. In the Men's Handball World Championship 2007, however, he was only the extended squad.

After working for the Croatian club RK Zagreb large and RK Medveščak Zagreb Goran Šprem changed on 13 October 2004 SG Flensburg- Handewitt in the German handball league. There he got behind Lars Christiansen but little use times, so he settled on 11 February to 1 June 2005 borrowed at the TuS Nettelstedt - Luebbecke. But even after his return to the Flensburgern he remained only a reserve player, so he moved to MT Melsungen July 1, 2006.

For the MT Melsungen Šprem played only ten competitive games since he " could not identify with the playing philosophy of coach Rastislav Trtik ". As of November 10 2006, he signed a contract with the HSG Nordhorn and remained there until forced resignation in 2009. Thereafter Goran Šprem moved to RK Zagreb, where he was until the end of the 2010/11 season under contract. Since October 26, 2011, he played for VfL Gummersbach in the first Bundesliga. On January 31, 2013, his contract was canceled by mutual agreement with the VfL ​​.

Šprem has a body length of 1.84 m and weighs 83 kg. His younger brother Lovro Šprem is also handball player.
