Gorkha Beer

Gorkha is a beer brand that in Nepal from Gorkha Brewery Ltd.. is brewed. The premium brand was introduced in 2006 and is now exported as a specialty beer world. The alcohol content is 5.5 % by volume The name derives from the ethnic group of Gurkha ( Gorkha also ) or their angestammtem settlement area, the district Gorkha Gorkha with its capital.

The Gorkha Brewery is part of the Danish Carlsberg brewery group of companies, was established in 1989 as a joint venture together with the Nepalese Kheta Group in Mukundapur in Nawalparasi (District).
