Gornje Košlje

Gornje Košlje (Cyrillic: Горње Кошље ) is a village in western Serbia, near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Geography and population

The village lies in the Opština Ljubovija, in Okrug Mačva. The place had in the census 2002 649 inhabitants, while it is still 781 inhabitants in 1991. After the last three population statistics, the population continues to fall. The population set to 99 % Serbs. In addition, but also live 7 Montenegrins in place. The village consists of 185 households.

The village lies on the banks of the Tresnjica. Gornje Košlje lies east of the Drina in Drinatal. The town is located south of the capital Ljubovija.
