Gorom-Gorom

Gorom Gorom - is both a municipality ( commune urbaine ) as well as a comprehensive department of the same territory in the north of the West African country of Burkina Faso. It is located in the Sahel and is capital of the province Oudalan. The area has 81 villages and in the five sectors of the capital of 104 587 inhabitants. The city is known for its colorful market, which serves many Tuareg, Bella, Fulani and Songhai in the region as a meeting place and one of the most famous tourist destinations in Burkina Faso is (every Thursday ).

Gorom Gorom - has an airfield ( International XGG identifier ) and is connected by paved roads with Dori and Markoye. Slopes connecting the city with Oursi and Tin - Akoff.

The landscape is dominated by old dunes and plains. Cattle industry dominates the acacia savannas, agriculture takes place primarily on the dunes.
