Gösta Lindh

Gustaf " Gösta " Lennart Lindh ( born February 8, 1924 in Örebro, † January 4, 1984 ) was a Swedish football player.

Career

Lindh played in the Youth for Rynninge IK, before he moved to Örebro SK 1941. He made his debut for the club on August 2, 1942 in the Division 2 game against Surahammars IF. In 1946 he succeeded to the club promotion to the Allsvenskan. There he played all 22 season games, but he missed with the team in the league. The direct revival followed the re descent. 1951 to 1953 he played again top notch with the club and missed only one game season. After two more years in the second division he ended his active career in 1955. Overall, he ran 251 times in league matches for the ÖSK on which 109 times in Allsvenskan.

Lindh played 31 internationals for Sweden. With the national team he won the bronze medal at the 1952 Olympics. With its debut in 1950 against Switzerland, he is the first national team in the history of Örebro SK.
