Goszcz

Goszcz ( German Goschütz ) is a village in the municipality of the city Twardogóra in the Province of Lower Silesia in Poland. Important nationally Goszcz was due to his castle.

Goschütz was the residence of the lords of outdoor Goschütz, the respective chief of the Silesian noble family Reichenbach. The Goschütz castle belonged until its destruction by fire in 1947, the most significant examples of the Silesian baroque. Until the late 1940s, was located between the castle and the castle church an orangery. The palace complex today comprises the castle ruins, business houses, the Protestant castle church and the castle park.
