The airport Gothenburg -Landvetter is an international airport in Sweden and is located 25 km east of Gothenburg and 40 km west of Borås. After Stockholm- Arlanda Gothenburg -Landvetter, with about 4.9 million passengers a year ( 2011) the second largest airport in the country. The airport was opened in 1977.

Apart from the Landvetter Airport in Gothenburg, there are also the smaller Gothenburg City Airport, which is primarily served by low cost airlines.

Check-in

The transport company Flygbussarna connects the airport with the city center (20 min) and the Central Station (30 min). In addition, local buses of the Transport Association Västtrafik run (takes about 60 minutes to the main train station ).
