Grand Hotel Lund

The Grand Hotel in the southern Swedish city of Lund is one of the oldest hotels and restaurants in the city and only Grand Hotel at the site. It is a four -star hotel.

The hotel was designed by the city architect of Helsingborg, Alfred Hellerström and built in the style of historicism 1896-1898 in place Bantorget, staden in today's district Centrala. The inauguration took place on 12 October 1899. The interior design is influenced by Art Nouveau, which is particularly evident in the lobby, the staircase and the large hall. The Grand Hotel is situated in the medieval town center, 150 meters from Lund C train station and now houses 84 rooms including 32 double and 52 single rooms and nine conference rooms.
