Grand Hotel (Mackinac Island)

The Grand Hotel is a historic hotel on Mackinac Iceland in the U.S. state of Michigan. It was built in the late 19th century and claims to have the largest porch in the world. Among the famous guests of the Grand Hotel include five U.S. presidents, Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Medvedev, Thomas Edison and Mark Twain.

Owner of the hotel is R. D. ( Dan ) Musser III.

1957, the Grand Hotel was declared a State Historical Building. In 1972 the hotel was included in the National Register of Historic Places and declared a National Historic Landmark in 1989.
