Graph paper

The so-called mathematical paper (also: Power of paper or paper function ) is provided with a special imprint of a coordinate grid. It is used in mathematics and the geometry of the representation of curves and points by coordinate.

With the ability to generate graphical representations also from spreadsheet programs out the importance of taking such a special paper from ( the presentation of data on logarithmic scales is of course still important and useful).

The Nomographie is engaged in the manufacture of such graphical evaluation of functions. They are also called nomograms. Mathematical papers are a subset of the nomograms, which include for example the slide rule also counts.

The mathematical papers include:

  • Graph paper
  • Logarithmic graph
  • Double logarithmic paper
  • Einfachlogarithmisches paper
  • Polar coordinate paper
  • Triangular grid paper
  • Probability paper
  • Smith chart
