Grapiczki

Grapiczki ( German New Grapitz, Kashubian Nowe Grabce ) is a very small village in the northwest of the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the rural community Potegowo ( Pottangow ) in the powiat Słupski ( Stolp ).

Geographical location

Grapiczki lies to the east of the county town of Slupsk ( Stolp ) on a side street that connects Żelkowo (Wendish Silkow ) with Potegowo. Rail connection is via the station Strzyżyno Słupskie on the railway line from Stargard to Gdansk.

History

At the end of the 18th century New Grapitz emerged as Vorwerk of Grapitz (now Polish: Grapice ) from Royal Meliorationsgeldern. To 1784, the Vorwerk New Grapitz three half farmers and four Büdner.

Before 1945, New Grapitz was a village in the municipality Grapitz and belonged to the district of Stolp in Pomerania Region of Pomerania. The school-age youths attended school in Grapitz.

After the end of the Second World War in 1945 the place as quite Pomerania was placed under Polish administration. Grapitz was renamed Grapiczki.

The village is incorporated ( 1975-1998 Slupsk voivodship ) today in the mayor's office Grapice ( Grapitz ) of Gmina Potegowo in powiat Słupski the Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Parish

By 1945, the predominantly Protestant village was in the parish dams (now Polish: Damno ) the parish, which belonged to the church Stolp - old town in the ecclesiastical province of the Church of the Old Prussian Pomerania Union. After 1945, the Protestant inhabitants of Grapiczki the church were assigned in Główczyce ( Glowitz ), the Branch Church of the Cross Church in Slupsk ( Stolp ) of the Evangelical - Augsburg Church in Poland.

Today's predominantly Catholic population of Grapiczki belongs to the parish Damno ( dams ) in the deanery in the diocese Główczyce Pelplin of the Catholic Church in Poland.
