Gratlspitze

Gratlspitz of the Alpbach south side

The Gratlspitze, also Gratlspitz, is a mountain in Tyrol part of the Kitzbühel Alps. She joins north to the Schatzberg.

She has next to 1899 m above sea level. A. high main peak, two additional side peaks, which give it a distinctive face. The mountain lies between the high valleys Wildschönau and Alpbach.

Due to its exposed location as a single standing mountain has an excellent vision from the summit.

On the mountain silver mining was carried out over many years. Some mine shafts and Geröllauswürfe (see photo of the Wildschönauer side) are clearly visible even today.
