Gre-No-Li

The acronym Gre -No- Li stands for the three Swedish football player Gunnar Gren, Gunnar Nordahl and Nils Liedholm, in the Swedish national team and AC Milan were a feared trio in the 1950s.

The three players led coached by Rudolf Kock Swedish selection in 1948 to the gold medal in the football tournament of the Summer Olympic Games in London. In the final at Wembley against Yugoslavia, the trio all three goals for a 3-1 win.
