Putte Kock

Jonas Eriksson Rudolf Kock ( born June 29, 1901 in Nacka, † October 31, 1979 in Stockholm) was a Swedish ice hockey and soccer players and soccer official.

Career

Kock played for AIK ice hockey and football. 1918 to 1928 he was a member of the first football team and played for them from 1925 32 times in Allsvenskan. After a meniscus injury in 1928 he had to end his athletes career.

Kock represented Sweden in both the football and hockey on the international stage. He played 37 matches for the national football team, for which he also took part in the Olympic Games in 1924, and two caps for the national hockey team.

1945-1953 Kock was a board at AIK. In this position, he was one of the Uttagningskommittén, the selection committee for the national football team, at. Thus he showed himself responsible for the success in the Olympic Games in 1948, when the gold medal was brought, the World Cup 1950 and the Olympics in 1952, when Sweden was third, respectively. Even after the end of his tenure at AIK he remained until 1962 at the committee before an official coach was adjusted with Lennart Nyman.
