The Great Eastern Highway Bypass is a four lane freeway in Perth in the south west of the Australian state of Western Australia. It connects the Great Eastern Highway Ascot ( between Perth and the Swan River Airport) with the Roe Highway in Hazelmere.

Together with the adjoining section of the Roe Highway, it forms a bypass of the historic suburbs of Guildford and Midland in the north-east of Perth, through the Great Eastern Highway continues to lead.

The bypass of the Great Eastern Highway in Northam was also called '' Great Eastern Highway Bypass ''.

History

The bypass was opened on 14 May 1988, was originally intended to be a part of the proposed Swan River Highway, Redcliffe Bushmead Highway.
