Greatest Hitz (English for " Greatest Hits" ) is a best-of album of American nu-metal band Limp Bizkit. It was released on 8 November 2005 on the label Geffen Records and Flip Records.
Content
The songs contained on the album are mostly previously released singles from the four published up to that time studio albums Three Dollar Bill, Yall $ ( two songs), Significant Other ( four songs ), Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water ( five tracks ) Results May Vary and ( three pieces ). Only the title Why, Lean on Me and Home Sweet Home / Bittersweet Symphony are new releases.
The only guest post on the album comes from the rapper Method Man, who is heard in the song N 2 Gether Now.
Production
The entire album was produced by Fred Durst, the frontman of the band, in collaboration with Liam Ward.
Cover design
The album cover is kept quite simple. It shows a pink circle, similar to the one that a keyhole, includes opening. At the top of the image, the band name is limpbizkit in gray and below the picture of the title Greatest Hitz in black. The background is kept white.

Chart successes and single
The best-of- album entered the German charts at # 25 and stayed seven weeks in the top 100 in the United States, the album reached rank 47 and left the charts after three weeks.
As a single Home Sweet Home / Bittersweet Symphony was disengaged. The song reached position 45 in Germany and held for nine weeks in the top 100
Sales and award
For more than 100,000 copies sold was awarded a gold record Greatest Hitz in Germany in 2011 and in the United Kingdom in 2013.
Greatest Videoz
On the same day a DVD was released with twelve published up to that time music videos of the group under the name Greatest Videoz.
