The parliamentary elections in Greece in 2000 was held on 8 April 2000.
Electoral system
It seats 300 were determined in the Greek Parliament for a term of four years. For the authorized parties was a three-percent electoral threshold. Was selected by proportional representation. For all Greek citizens over 18 years there was elective.

Election result
The Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK ) was victor with pretty edging ahead of the New Democracy ( ND). All left parties suffered losses in the election. The previously represented in the Parliament Democratic Social Movement ( DIKKI ) failed due to the three- percent threshold and could therefore not send more representatives.
