Greenish naked-backed fruit bat

Dobsonia viridis (English name: " Greenish Naked -backed Fruit Bat ") is a Flughundart from the kind of nude back flying foxes ( Dobsonia ), which in on the island of Ambon, the Banda Islands, Buru, Seram, the Kai Islands and Mangole the Moluccas (Indonesia) occurs. On the Tanimbarese Islands lives a previously undescribed closely related Art D. viridis belongs together with Dobonia praedatrix and Dobsonia crenulata to Dobsonia - viridis species complex within the genus Dobsonia. As with other species of this genus, the coat color is greenish. The head-body length is 154.8 to 176.0 mm, tail length 23.1 to 38.8 mm, the forearm length from 110.4 to 118.6 millimeters, while tibia length 51.7 to 57.2 mm, the ear length 21, 5 to 25.5 millimeters. The weight is 173-229 grams.
