Greensleeves Rhythm Album 40: Egyptian

The Egyptian Riddim is a Dancehallriddim. He was produced in 2003 by the Jamaicans Donovan " Vendetta" Bennett and Daniel " Blaxx " Lewis. He has appeared on the label Blaxxx Productions and as Greensleeves Rhythm Album # 40. On the Riddim many well-known dancehall artists have sung songs or toasted, including Sean Paul, Wayne Marshall and Elephant Man.

Description

The electronically produced Riddim consists of an Indo -Oriental Beat and various percussion. Clocking is a deep single long bass. This is accompanied by tabla and Dholrhythmen. It is a soft oriental-looking tune. The tone of the melody resembles a Shehnai.

Both producers have each produced their own version. The Riddim by Vendetta Bennett alternates between melody parts and parts that consist only of slow rhythms, accompanied by a very minimal melody of short electronic tones.
