Greg Minnaar

Greg Minnaar ( born November 13, 1981 in Pietermaritzburg ) is a downhill mountain bike professional from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. 2001, 2005 and 2008 he won the Downhill World Cup in 2003, 2012 and 2013, he was downhill world champion.

Since 1995, the South African Mountain Biker denies race. 2001, 2005 and 2008 won the UCI Downhill World Cup Minnaar, where he was third in 2006. In the mountain bike world championships he won in the downhill discipline a total of two gold, two silver and two bronze medals.

By 2007, he went together with Matti Lehikoinen and Brendan Fairclough to the Team G Cross Honda. Since 2008, Greg Minnaar fights with Steve Peat and Josh Bryceland for the team of Santa Cruz Syndicate at downhill World Cup points.

He is sponsored by the U.S. American sports brand O'Neal.
