Greger Artursson

Greger Artursson ( born February 6, 1972 in Västerås ) is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey player who played during his active career, among other things Färjestad BK in the Elitserien.

Career

The 175cm defender began his career in hockey at Färjestad BK 1988, when he was at two professional games on the ice. Throughout his career, he was three times Swedish champion with the Swedes. In 1998, he succeeded in the fifth game of the final series against Djurgårdens IF the decisive goal in overtime to the successful title defense. Artursson shoots with his left hand and played 13 times for the Swedish national ice hockey team, where he was able to record a hit and an assist. In 2001 he took part in Sweden the All -Star Game the Elitserien. 2004 and then moved abroad to Austria League Croesus EC Red Bull Salzburg, where he played four seasons and with whom he was in 2007 and 2008 Austrian champion. His career was the defender from 2008 to 2010 in Mora IK close in the HockeyAllsvenskan where Artursson was active as a team captain in the 2009/10 season.
