Grégory Bettiol

Grégory Bettiol ( born March 30, 1986 in Villefranche ) is a French football player. Currently, the striker ES Troyes is under contract.

Career

Association

His career began in the 1.80 meter tall center forward in the French top club Olympique Lyon. In the reserve team of the club he was with Mourad Benhamida the mainstay of the team and managed to win the title in the second amateur league in France. The following season he was in the senior squad. But here he did not come beyond the reserve player and was often just spectators. His debut in Ligue 1 was Bettiol on 17 September 2006 in the League match against RC Lens, as einwechselte him OL coach Gérard Houllier in the 68th minute for Kim Kallstrom. Since Bettiols contract expired in the summer of 2007, he was a free transfer to the Ligue 1 relegation ES Troyes change. Here he hopes more sorties than last time with the Master. In the 1-0 win on 27 July 2007 against EA Guingamp he made his debut for Troyes, when he came on. His first goal for the new club, he scored on 24 September 2007 against SC Bastia. Overall, he should obtain only four goals in 36 games. The climb was not possible, it was only reached the 6th place. For the following year, however, came Bettiol the season well, much after an injury from September, apart from a brief comeback in November, for the rest of the season. Troyes dismounted in the National ( D3) at the end of the season. With the start of the 2009 /10 and in a new class, coach Patrick Remy again reinforced his attacker who thus finally again became a team regular. As Table Third, the club managed its chances of promotion to Ligue 2 Under new coach Jean -Marc Furlan, who was signed in February 2010, Bettiol held his position in the team. Also 2010/11 builds Furlan further on the center forward.

National

Bettiol was previously for various youth teams in his country hunting for goals. In 2004 he was appointed coach and former French A-National player Jean Gallice the levy of the U- 18 for the " Slovakia Cup ".
