Grešlové Mýto

Grešlové Mýto ( German Gröschlmaut ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located nine kilometers southeast of the city Moravské Budějovice and belongs to Okres Znojmo.

Geography

The street village Grešlové Mýto extends on the right side of the Jevišovkatals along the European route 59 in the South Moravian Thaya Schwarza valley floor. Northwest is located in the valley of the station Grešlové Mýto on the railroad Jihlava - Znojmo.

Neighboring towns are Blanné and Prokopov in the north, Jiřice u Moravských Budějovic in the northeast, Boskovštejn in the east, in the southeast Pavlice, Ctidružice in the west and Blížkovice in the northwest.

History

The first mention of Grešlové Mýto was in 1660 due to the sale of goods Boskovštejn by Leopold Ferdinand Březnický of Nachod Zdenko Bohuslav Dubský of Třebomyslice. In it were four Chaluppen at the Prague street, where everyone who crossed the Jevišovka a Gröschel had to pay toll, mentioned as an accessory of the goods.

Below was under the rule of the settlement Hösting that earned in 1680 the Marshal Jean -Louis Raduit. After his death in 1682 was the Boskowsteiner ownership of the feeble-minded son, Johann Ludwig, who died in 1717 without issue. Beerbten him his nephew, the Boskowstein and accessories in 1720 sold to the Councilor Joseph Graf von Gattersburg.

1798 acquired Anton Graf Meraviglia the rule Hösting with the associated villages Blann, Boskowstein, Gröschlmaut, Irschitz Prokop village, Roskosch and Zerkowitz. At the end of the 18th century merged the independent Good Boskowstein with the rule Hösting.

After the abolition of patrimonial Boskowstein 1848 an independent village. In 1857 the family sold their goods in Meraviglia Hösting and Boskowstein to Charles Prince of Liechtenstein. Due to its location on the major road, the Kaiser settlement grew into a village. On April 23, 1871, the route of the Austrian Northwestern Railway between Znojmo and Jihlava was put into operation.

After the death of Rudolf von und zu Liechtenstein, the goods was sold in 1908 to Ferdinand Count Trauttmandsorff. After the founding of Czechoslovakia was 1923-1926 the Parzellisierung of goods Boskowstein.

In the settlement Nad Mírovcem is an archaeological site.
