Grinder (Band)

Grinder was a Hessian speed and thrash metal band from Frankfurt am Main, which was founded in 1985 and broke up again after 1991.

History

The band was formed in 1985 and consisted of their main creative period of vocalist and bassist Adrian Hahn, drummer Stefan Arnold and guitarist Andy Ergün and Lario Teklic. After two demos, the group reached a contract with No Remorse Records and released their debut album in 1988 Dawn for the Living, the Dead End 1989 followed. The band then switched to the German label Noise Records and released in 1991, the last album Nothing Is Sacred, before the band broke up.

Style

The band plays classic speed and thrash metal and can be compared with old Flotsam and Jetsam and Vendetta.
