Grønningen Lighthouse

The Grønningen fyr is a lighthouse in Norway, which marks the eastern point of the harbor of Kristiansand. The building is 5 meters above sea level and is built of concrete. The tower is 14 meters high.

The beacon was first lit on 1 September 1878. The other fire, which marks the western entrance ( Oksøy ), is 2.2 km to the west.

The station was manned until 1980. In 1994, the entire plant was declared a National Monument.
