Grodziec, Gmina Ozimek

Grodziec ( German: Friedrich Králové) is a village in the municipality Ozimek ( Malapane ) in the powiat Opolski in the Opole Voivodeship.

History

The village was founded in 1752 by the Hussites of Bohemia.

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia in 1921 voted in 1239 voters for Germany and 13 for Poland. Friedrich Graetz remained after 1922 in the Weimar Republic. 1933 lived in Friedrich Graetz 1,906 inhabitants, in 1939 1,810 inhabitants.

In 1945, it was under Polish administration and renamed Grodziec, the population was displaced. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place to re-founded powiat Oleski.
