Großer Benzer See

The Great Benzer Lake is a lake in the municipality of Malente Circle East Holstein in Schleswig -Holstein. He is ( difficult to access ) west of the village of Benz / north of the lake Keller in the immediate vicinity of the Little Benzer lake.

He is surrounded by a hilly moraine landscape of Holstein Switzerland.

The Great Benzer lake has a size of 13 ha and a maximum depth of 15.8 m. The lake has an oval shape with a length of about 510 m and a width of about 300 m and drains into the (100 meters north-west ) Benzer little lake.

It is referenced fed by the waters of the southeastern Schwonausees.
