Grzegorz Bronowicki

Grzegorz Bronowicki (* August 4, 1980 in Jaszczów, Poland ) is a former Polish football player. He played on the full-back position. His younger brother Piotr was also footballer and played for Górnik Łęczna, Legia Warsaw and Piast Gliwice.

Club career

Grzegorz Bronowicki spent nearly his entire career at Górnik Łęczna in Poland, apart from one season to the then third division Lewart Lubartów. In 2006 he moved to Legia Warsaw. Here he became the player of the Polish national team. In 2007 he moved for 1 million euros to Serbia for FK Red Star Belgrade. However, he was persecuted by injury problems over and over again in Serbia and brought it in 2 years, only 13 League Appearances. For the 2009/2010 season, he returned to Poland and signed at second division Górnik Łęczna. Here he found back to good form and was in July 2010 committed by Ruch Chorzów where he plays in the Ekstraklasa, the top Polish league. After the season 2010/2011 and 8 league games for Ruch Grzegorz Bronowicki ended his active career.

National

He played almost all the qualifying matches for the 2008 European Championship in Austria and Switzerland, but was rejected by coach Leo Beenhakker shortly before the tournament. His last international game, he completed 26 May 2008 in Reutlingen against Macedonia (1:1).
