Grzegorz Miętus

Grzegorz miętus ( born February 20, 1993, Zakopane ) is a Polish ski jumper.

Career

Miętus started his international career at the age of 14 years in unterklassigen FIS Cup. In 2008 he started in his home for the first time in Zakopane Continental Cup Ski Jumping.

At the Junior World Championship 2009 in Štrbské Pleso, he won the team bronze in the team event and finished third in the individual competition the 20th Place. On October 3, his first assignment was in the Summer Grand Prix, where he with 137.5 m not just set up his personal best in Klingenthal but with space 28 also managed to win first Grand Prix points at the end. A week later he was at the Polish Championships in Zakopane behind Adam Malysz and Łukasz Rutkowski third in the competition on the large hill.

On 20 December 2009 he was able to win on the hill Tehvandi his first Continental Cup competitions in the Estonian Otepaeae. On January 22, 2010, he succeeded in his home town of Zakopane for the first time qualifying for a World Cup competition. With a ranking of 48 but it was not enough for the jump in the points. He achieved his best result on 6 February 2010 at the World Cup competition in Willingen, where he landed on the 20th Place.
