2009 FIS Grand Prix Ski Jumping
The Ski Jumping Grand Prix 2009 ( official name: FIS Grand Prix Ski Jumping 2009) was one of the International Ski Federation FIS between August 8 and October 3, 2009 discharged at eight different locations in Europe and Asia series of competitions in ski jumping. The Grand Prix consisted of 9 single and a team competition, of which eight were jumping in Europe and two in Asia instead. The victory in the overall standings was the Swiss Simon Ammann win against the Slovenes Robert Kranjec and Poland's Adam Malysz. The defending champion Gregor Schlierenzauer of Austria finished fifth. The Nations Cup won Norway before the teams from Japan and Austria. In order to win the Nations Cup for the first time since the Ski Jumping Grand Prix 2000, a non- Austrian team.
