The Stadio del Trampolino German means something like ski jump stadium, is a ski jumping facility in the Piedmont community Pragelato.

History

The history of the plant is still quite short. 2003 began with the construction for the 2006 Winter Olympics, 2004, the completion of the Hills, 2005, the infrastructure was completed. There are 5 ski jumps were built in the 400 -strong community, they serve as a training center for the Italian Ski Federation. All hills are covered with mats.

The first World Cup event was held on 11 and 12 February 2005. The individual competition under the lights won Finland's Matti Hautamäki, the team competition the day after the Austrian team won.

In the 2008 /09 season there was another World Cup weekend on the hill. The first individual competition on December 13, 2008 was won by the Swiss Simon Ammann, who is also the hill record of 144 m aufstellte in this competition. The day before, he was in the qualification already at 145 m, but reached with hands in the snow, so the jump was not recognized as a hill record.

In August 2009, the hills were shut down. In the summer of 2013 they were put back into operation.
