2000 FIS Grand Prix Ski Jumping

The Ski Jumping Grand Prix 2000 ( official name: FIS Grand Prix Ski Jumping 2000) was a discharged from the International Ski Federation FIS between 5 August 2000 and September 3, 2000 race series in ski jumping. The discharged at six different places in Europe and Asia Grand Prix consisted of a team and eight individual events, of which six competitions in Europe and four were held in Asia. Originally the host of another individual competition in the Korean Muju was provided, but had to be canceled in advance. The victory in the overall standings could win ahead of his teammate Matti Hautamäki and the Japanese Hideharu Miyahira of Finland's Janne Ahonen. The defending champion Sven Hanna forest of Germany finished in 35th place. The competition was won by Finland Nations defending champions Japan and Norway.
