Since then, the World Cup competition in Zakopane are visited by very many people. This was not always unproblematic: So the organizers had in 2001 and 2002 to fight a heavily crowded stadium as fake tickets were sold in advance.

Also in 2002, Sven Hanna forest here was booed by thousands of Polish fans and pelted with snowballs in the lift. There were similar problems in other jumping events. However, a jointly undertaken by Małysz and Hanna forest campaign for more fairness in sport showed success, and since 2003, jumping developed on the Wielka Krokiew to a peaceful event, be hailed in the non- Polish athletes. Together with the jumping on Mühlenkopfschanze in the Hessian Willingen World Cup in Zakopane is considered today as the largest ski party with the best atmosphere.
