Guarcello Peak

It is located in the southwestern part of the Enterprise Hills, at the head of Horseshoe Valley. About 5.6 kilometers to the north-northwest lies the Mount Dolence, in the southeast of Chappell Peak.

The summit was charted in the years 1961-66 by the United States Geological Survey, based on measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy. Named Guarcello peak from the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names by Dominic Guarcello, a meteorologist, who worked on the American Antarctic base Little America V in 1958.
