Guasimal is a town in the municipality of Sancti Spiritus in the eponymous central Cuban province of Sancti Spiritus.
The city, founded in 1865, has about 5,000 inhabitants, distributed on 84 km ².
On 4 November 2010 it came into the area to a plane crash of flight 883 of the Cuban airline Aerocaribbean.
