Guglielmo Del Bimbo

Guglielmo Del Bimbo ( born October 20, 1903 in Livorno; † 3 November 1973) was an Italian rower.

At the helm European Championships in 1929, the Italian Eighth defended the title in 1927, but the occupation of the boat was reassembled with Vittorio Cioni, Enrico Garzelli, Guglielmo Del Bimbo, Roberto Vestrini, Dino Barsotti, Eugenio Nenci, Mario Balleri, Renato Barbieri and helmsman Cesare Milani. 1930 won the boat in the same occupation, the silver medal behind the boat from the United States, in 1931 occupied the aft with Renato Bracci for Vestrini again finished second, this time behind the French.

At the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles the aft stepped in with the Cioni, Balleri, Bracci, Barsotti, Vestrini, Del Bimbo, Garzelli, Barbieri and Milani and got behind the U.S. boat the silver medal. 1933 won the boat with Ottorino godini and Dante Secchi for Vestrini and Cioni silver behind the Hungarian eighth.

After Italy had won at the European Championships in 1934 with a completely different crew bronze and there was no medal for Italy in 1935 in the eighth, returned for the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin- Grunau some of the 1932er crew in the aft back and Guglielmo Del Bimbo was the new batsman. In the occupation Guglielmo Del Bimbo, Dino Barsotti, Ottorino Quaglierini, Oreste Grossi, Enzo Bartolini, Mario Checcacci, Dante Secchi, Enrico Garzelli and Cesare Milani, the boat took second place in the flow behind last year's European champion Hungary. While the boats from the USA, Hungary and Switzerland qualified as winners advance directly to the final, reached the boat from Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom as the winner of hope runs in the final. There, the favored U.S. boat pulled away first, the second track section were Italian and German, and the three boats reached within one second goal, Gold won the Americans against the Italians and the Germans.
