Guiar

Guiar is one of six parroquias in the community Vegadeo the autonomous community of Asturias in Spain.

Geography

Guiar is a Parroquia with 44 inhabitants ( 2011) and an area of 5.55 km ². It is 214 m. The nearest major town is Vegadeo, the 9.4 km distant capital of the municipality of the same name.

Through the Parroquia the Río Ouria, a tributary of the river Eo flows.

Climate

Pleasantly mild summers with mild also, rarely severe winters. In the highlands of the winters can be quite severe.
