Guido Bontempi

Guido Bontempi ( born January 12, 1960 in Gussago, Italy ) is an Italian former racing cyclist. His career began in 1981 and finished it in 1995. Since 1998, he has continued as a sports director in cycling operates.

Bontempi was an all-rounder and good sprinter who was successful both in one-day races and tours. He is one of the select box of those drivers who celebrated stage wins at the big three national tours Tour de France, Giro d' Italia and Vuelta a España. But even with the classic one-day races like Gent- Wevelgem and Paris - Brussels, he was victorious.

At the Tour de France in 1987, he received a time penalty of ten minutes because he had tested positive for testosterone.
