Guido Gallese

Guido Gallese ( born March 18, 1962 in Genoa, Italy), Bishop of Alessandria.

Life

The Archbishop of Genoa - Bobbio, Giovanni Canestri, ordained him deacon on 23 April 1988 and on 29 September 1990 on the priest.

On October 20, 2012 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him. Bishop of Alessandria. The episcopal consecration by the Archbishop of Genoa, Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, took place on November 11 of the same year in the cathedral of San Lorenzo in Genoa; Co-consecrators were Cardinal Giuseppe Versaldi, and Luigi Ernesto Palletti, Bishop of La Spezia - Sarzana- Brugnato. The solemn inauguration ( enthronement ) was held on 25 November 2012.
