Guillermo Giacomazzi
Guillermo Giacomazzi ( born November 21, 1977 in Montevideo) is an Uruguayan footballer who is mainly in the midfield to use. He is since 2013 when AC Siena under contract. Furthermore Giacomazzi played in the Uruguayan national team.
Club career
The 1.87 meter tall Giacomazzi started his career at Bella Vista. There he made his debut at age 17 in the Primera División. In the Clausura 1998 25 Erstligaeinsätze and six goals scored be specified. In the Apertura 1999 he is said to have then denied 28 games in which he hit four times. In January 2000, Giacomazzi moved from Bella Vista to Club Atlético Peñarol. There he stood until 2001 Erstligakader Peñarols. For the Aurinegros he graduated in 2000 Apertura 18 games in the Apertura 2001 16 matches in the league. Numbers for the respective Clausuras are not currently backed up before. In 2001 he signed a contract with the Italian club U.S. Lecce. He made his debut on 26 August 2001 in Serie A with a 1-1 draw against Parma. Then he played regularly for six years for Lecce, before he was eventually promoted to captain. In January 2007, however, he was loaned to U.S. Palermo. On 10 February 2007, he played his first game for his new employer against FC Empoli. The following season he was loaned out to exactly these Empoli FC, before returning for the season 2008/ 09 to U.S. Lecce. In the seasons of 2008/09 to 2012/ 13, he completed a total of 161 league games for the club, in which he scored 18 goals. This includes the four Ascension Play-off games of the Lega Pro Prima Divisione in the 2012/13 season.
Giacomazzis contract with Lecce ran, according to the player until mid- 2014. Early August 2013 United player and club by mutual agreement to terminate the contract. A commitment Giacomazzis at AC Siena was then announced on 8 August 2013. During the Cup match against AC Pisa a few days later he played his first competitive match. Until his last mission provisionally on 15 February 2014 recorded for him 22 completed games ( two goals) in the Serie B and four games (one goal ) in the Coppa Italia.
National
Giacomazzi debuted on June 3, 2000 under coach Daniel Passarella Alberto in the World Cup qualifier against Chile in the Uruguayan national team when he came on in the 89th minute for Álvaro Recoba. Until his last mission June 2, 2007 Giacomazzi completed a total of 17 caps for his native country, where he scored a goal. (Updated: August 22, 2013)
