Guimaëc

Guimaëc ( Gwimaeg Breton ) is a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany in north with 956 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The place is located in the north of Brittany, near the Atlantic coast on the English Channel. Morlaix is 15 kilometers (km ) southwest, Brest 65 km south-west of Paris and about 450 km to the east.

Infrastructure

In Morlaix is the next exit on the highway E 50 (Brest - Rennes) and a regional train station in the predominantly parallel railway line. In Brest and Rennes are regional airports.
