Gullmarsplan metro station
Gullmarsplan is an aboveground station Stockholm subway " Tunnelbana ". It is located in the Södermalm district. The station is served by the Gröna linjen the Stockholm subway system as well as the light rail similar Tvärbanan which holds at the western entrance of the station. There is a large bus station on the station. The central location makes the station to the busiest station of the metro network in the southern part of Stockholm. On a normal working day rise to 32,000 commuters here.
The station was taken on September 3, 1946 under the name Johanneshov as a tram stop operating. The underground operation was performed on October 1, 1950 as the first Stockholm metro section Slussen Hökarängen was inaugurated. However, the station was given its present name until 1958. It is located between the stations Globes ( T19 ) or Skärmarbrink ( T17 T18 ) and Skanstull. Stockholm Central Station, there are about four kilometers.
On August 20, 1990, a bus station was opened on the tracks of the subway.
