Gülşen Degener ( born October 25, 1968 in Şanlıurfa, Turkey) is a resident of Germany, Turkish-born Carambolagespielerin.

Life

Gülşen Degener was born in the south-eastern Turkish city of Şanlıurfa 1968. It began with the playing billiards while she studied at the Uludağ University in Bursa English, German, philology and literature. After its launch with Free game, she switched to tri-band, the most difficult Carambolagevariante. They soon became the best Turkish player who was able to impress even Semih Saygıner or Tayfun Taşdemir.

In the mid-1990s Degener moved to Berlin. In 1999, she played the leading Dutch women's team ( Tabara ) in the first division. In 2001, she was able to rise to the 2nd Bundesliga League Berlin / Brandenburg. In the 2002-2003 season, she played for the German second division club BSG Duisburg, before moving to the Portuguese first division Centro Norton de Matos for the 2005/ 06 season. She currently plays for the Billiard Academy in Berlin and the Paris Club Maisen Alford.

Degener currently lives both in Berlin and in Turkey, is married and has one child.
